Bloodlines opened the show with a rousing set.  Not bad for their first time at Jaxx.  The crowd was with them all the way!  Many of the fans in attendance came just for Bloodlines and were treated to a night of great Hard Rock.

Turbulance mixed some great original work with some fabulous covers.  Very tight band with a tremendous sound from Winchester, VA.  Don't miss them opening for Funny Money March 25th.

Evick had many fans and a lot of energy.  Pete Evick is a charismatic lead man with a great stage presence.  EVICK  are sponsored by Jägermeister and several shots were consumed during the set adding fuel to a fire already roaring.  Great sound and certainly one of the best local bands performing at Jaxx on a regular basis.  Don't miss them next time they're here opening for White Lion on March 11th!

XYZ, though the headliners, experienced a line-up hiccup when one of their members suffered a hand injury forcing them to do an abbreviated set before making way for Every Mothers Nightmare.  XYZ, nonetheless put on an inspired performance like the true professionals they are.

Every Mothers Nightmare, from Tennessee, put on an extended closing set not ending till around 1:30 AM.  To say these guys had energy would be a gross understatement!  Powerful, tight, loud and proud!  An awesome show by this hard rockin' quintet with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrds "Saturday Night Special" just one of many highlights.

Joe and April came from Fairfax to see Bloodlines.  They stayed late!

Veteran Metal Babes Traci (Reston) and Autumn (Falls Church) came out to see XYZ and Evick.  They had a great time and I know we'll see them at Jaxx again in the future.

Kenia drove all the way from Dale City to see her friend Darryl play bass guitar for Bloodlines.  Her first trip to Jaxx and she seemed to be having a great time.

Chris (Lead Vocals with Bloodlines) and fiancée Michelle enjoy a moment after Bloodlines spirited opening set.

Katie takes a break from serving drinks and really gets into the sounds of Evick.  This girl can dance!

Willie has the fire in the kitchen almost as hot as the onstage action.  The food at Jaxx is excellent.  Make sure to sample some on your next visit.

All in all, in a great night of loud rock with superb sound all evening.  If you missed this one, you missed a good one!  Don't miss the next one.
