Anthrax - thrash legends at Jaxx, with the original line up no less! It seems like I've seen a lifetime of memorable shows at Jaxx this year. I've done reviews on most of them too! :-) Suffice it to say, this was a great show and I have no argument with the original line up at all. Apologies to John Bush. Anthrax's set list consisted of many songs from Among The Living, an album I was made recently familiar with thanks to my good buddy and Mothermetal.com scribe Ed Fortney. (also in attendance I might add and who I'm sure will be doing a more in depth review) The title track from ATL kicked things off and it was all energy after that. Joey Belladonna sounded great and it seemed like he never left. Memories of the recent Testament reunion at Jaxx came roaring back. Also from ATL were Caught In A Mosh, Indians and N.F.L. Other songs included Madhouse and Got The Time. Locals Forwardhead & MOAB did a great job kicking things off for Anthrax.
