Friday's show was amazing as always. This was Tracii's 8th show at Jaxx and it is obvious that he feels right at home. Jeremy Guns was celebrating his 25th birthday. It was a night to remember for sure...one of the BEST L.A. Guns shows I have seen. Paul was belting out the tunes we all know and love like Rip and Tear, and joined all of the fans in the middle of the floor for the Ballad of Jayne. We also enjoyed a cover and sing-a-long of You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones. Tracii was sick, but you would have never known it. He artfully displayed his soulful, bluesy-ness as well as tirelessly ripping through the heavier tunes, showing everyone why he is STILL one of the best. We had a very unexpected treat at the end of the night, because I think the guys were just NOT ready to stop playing. All of the lights were up, some of the crowd was gone, and the guys had left the stage. Paul came back and started playing the drums...he's actually pretty good. Next thing you know, we have the drummer singing AC/DC's T.N.T. and Jeremy and Tracii follow along back to the stage as well. If you missed the show on Friday night, shame on you. It was a rockin', laid back, great time with Tracii and the guys.
