Looks Good

I think the new lay out looks good overall. There's still a few kinks to work out, the About page is empty and the home page says that tonight's band is "Gorilla Productions Presents:", for example, but overall it's nice to see Jaxx with a more modern looking website. The old one looked like it was coded in the 90s. I really like how the pics at the top change when you refresh the page, that's cool. I'd like to see more than just text on the home page though, maybe next to or under the "Tonight:" part have a picture of the poster/flyer for the show, a picture of the band (live or promo) or at least the headliner's logo. The "Shows This Week" thing on the side is cool, would be nice if it updated each night though, as it appears to just roll forward on Sunday nights. Maybe making a widget users could embed in their websites of that would be nice too. I know there's still work to do on it and I can't wait for the individual concert links, but it's cool to see the Jaxx website finally get a major update. Can't wait to see what else is coming!

LOL, thanks, long way to go but I was aksed to get it online, Jay is getting me text for the "About" page and I still have to add reviews and so on. All in good time, I work a full time job too :-)

By the way, tonight IS Gorilla Music Presents, they're all local bands and no real headliner.

I agree that it looks WAY better than the old-one, which was very challenging to the eyes and "epileptic" in nature.

However, the one thing I loved about the old-version was the newly-added shows on the main-page. I check out the site EVERY day by going to the main-page and see if a new kick-ass shows has been announced.

My only request is to bring this feature (or rather announcements) back to the main-page, otherwise... great job!!!
