Dude, you can't miss the option to use the other style calender.I saw the option completely by mistake. Not trying to take sides here, but being someone who has worked in retail, like any customer service job,its easy to get frustrated when you hear the compaint over and over, even after you have posted the answer. Hey, everyone needs to blow off steam. I'm glad nobody jumped my ass when I griped about the smoking situation. Not jumping your case, just offering a different viewpoint is all.

Just to add to that, having worked retail, specifically Lowes, you have to wonder how half these rebos can function without a helmet. Being there for 2 years made me appreciate anyone who can do it as a career. I guess you have to stand in the other person's shoes to truly appreciate what a pain in the ass it is to deal with people who have no common sense or initiative on a daily basis.

Not ranting any more but just pointing out... I continue to get emails from bands asking how they can play at Jaxx.

Okay, I really DON'T wanna complain coz there's enough going on,but I bought VIP tix and hired a babysitter to watch my son so I could meet Overkill. Now, I know some shows start late, but standing outside for 1 1/2 hours was NOT cool. Had I not called Jaxx while standing in line, we wouldn't have ever known that the meet n greet was AFTER the show. I'm not pointing fingers, but someone should have at least told us before we were let in. I had to basically eat my ticket because I had to pick up my son from the sitters. Waste of money and time.

As I replied in your other topic, I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you, no one called or emailed me that it had changed and they very well may have not known it was going to change until right up to the moment it did. Bands arrive late, gear breaks, soundchecks run long, band members get sick, there is ANY number of things tha change shows someway. I can only tell you what I know and that can always change at the last minute without my knowledge.

Well,I don't know who answered the phone, but they went and got the answer for me while we all waited in a separate line for almost another 1/2 hour so someone knew something but had us wait out in the heat anyways. I won't be getting anymore VIP tix, I've had better luck meeting bands before and after shows without paying twice as much for a reular ticket. Sorry. Not saying its your fault, but someone knew what was up before they let us in.

Oh I know you weren't blaming me specifically or anything :-) I just feel bad that it happened. When I have a chance I'm going to talk to Marie and the others and see if we can't get some better communication.

No problem, don't get the idea that I wouldn't come back. Been going there too many years. I have the feeling it was one of the bands.
