I was wondering, and I bet a few people are, that since the Caps are in the playoffs and Game 5 vs Montreal will be on Friday night, will you guys be showing the Caps game in the back bar on the widescreen? I know sometimes you show a live feed of the bands on stage (and as they set up) but I def want to watch as much of the Caps game as I can. Ok so just a few minutes ago Skeletonwitch posted this on their Twitter page: Tomorrow's show @ Jaxx in Springfield, VA, is an early one!! Doors at 5:00, show starts at 5:30. Cannibal will hit the stage before 9 PM!! Is that true? That's an hour earlier than listed on the website. Also, a Friday night show that ends around 10? I'm assuming the Latin dance night stuff is over with as I don't see it on the website anywhere any more. Why on earth would the show be so early? Can we get an update on the set times? I work til 8 and apparently I'm going to get there just in time for the headliner, that's ridiculous. |

The e-mail from Enter the Vault says to show up at 4:30 for the meet and greet so I am guessing you are on the right track.

Ok, talked to Jay tonight and I have tentative set times, as always they are subject to change. As previously said when the Latin stuff was cancelled the door times changed from 5:30 to 6:30, the change was only made on the website and not sent to TicketMaster. VIP ticket holders get in 1 hour before doors (they get in at 5:30) BUT to be safe if it is at all possible I would suggest getting there earlier to be sure there are no issues. Below are the set times Jay laid out.
C.O.B.C. 7:30 - 8:00
Lecherous Nocturne 8:20 - 8:50
Diabolic 9:10 - 9:40
Skeletonwitch 10:00 - 10:40
Cannibal Corpse 11:00 - ?

Saw the update on your Twitter: Major change tonight: Cannibal Corpse has an 8am loadin in Boston tom. for NE Metalfest so they go on at 9:30, doors at 6 1st band at 6:30 This really sucks! First I buy a ticket, then 1349 drops off and Cannibal Corpse plays at 9 fucking 30 on a Friday? What the fuck am I supposed to do with the rest of my evening in Springfield (hint: nobody cares about Cab Ride Home playing at midnight)? I wouldn't have missed the Caps game for this had I known ahead of time... |

I understand how you feel, I got an emergency phone call at 1:50 or something like that right as I got to work and had to get it up everywhere as soon as I could. This was my last stop (the message boards) but I had to do something at work 1st. I am assuming that the people at Jaxx just found out when the band got there since obviously Jay wasn't aware of it last night. Poor planning on Cannibal Corpse's part I suppose.
Maybe have a message board people party in the lounge afterwards?

You mean we would simply converse in the lounge verses the foyer?  It was a great show even with the crazy schedule changes. I had a blast and it was finally nice to meet you as well Chris, although it was only for a brief moment, it is always fun meeting online folks in person. |

Nice to meet you too, though I have to admit it was hard to have a conversation right in front of the speakers like that! What I did see of the show was a lot of fun, I really wanted to see Diabolic though, haven't seen them in years.
