If Jay won't book them because of the stool I have no idea, I vaguely remember that they were asked not to use any more house stools because every time they played they destroyed one and it does get costly eventually and maybe they ignored the request but that's conjecture, the memory's foggy, too many years ago. I also think they weren't drawing as well as they used to but again it's been awhile. Firehouse has played Jaxx in the past but I don't think they ever drew well at all. A lot of these bands just play festivals now (such as M3) because as a large unit they can draw a lot better (and get more pay) than single shows at small clubs.
