Who else books bands that shred as hard as jaxx?

So, hmm... to make this topic relevant... where was Jay born? Is he from around here?

That's cool that Jay owns Sully's in Chantilly now!  I'll have to head out there to check it out.

Yeah it's cool he bought the place, but I hope the new place doesn't take the hot Ukranian bartenders from Jaxx! Chantilly is a bit far out for me, though I do have a few friends out that way.

Cool! Staunton Military academy is by me! My dad graduated from there, and a little known fact, so did Johnny Ramone! Not sure what years Johnny was there (way after my dad) did Jay by any chance go to school with Johnny?

I haven't heard him mention Johnny but I know he went to school with Blackie Lawless, either Staunton or William and Mary, don't remember which.

ahhhhh, that explains the WASP show! ;-) so back in the day did Ramones ever play Jaxx? or whatever the name was back then?

On the old site there was a page that listed all the bands/artists who had played a Jaxx and the number of gigs next to the name. Is that still here somewhere and I'm missing it and its gone forever? Hope not I t was a cool read! if its not coming back any chance of getting a copy of it?

I don't know what happened to the pages with all the old concert dates, but there is the Jaxx page on Songkick (check it out here). The site is trying to list every concert event ever. I went through all my old ticket stubs and entered them in one by one onto the site, but I'm sure I'm forgetting some I never kept my stubs for (especially when I was younger and didn't care). It's not complete by any means, but you can click the "artists" tab there to see who is listed as having played Jaxx the most. Also, apparently the Enthroned concert Thursday will be my 63rd show (that I could remember) at Jaxx.

No one kept track of the artists and how many times they played at Jaxx for quite awhile so it was inaccurate. I do have the old "Archive" pages (they only go back to 2006) and I have been saving the shows from this year to maybe get an archive page again, haven't had time. Another problem I have is that since I'm not at most of the shows if a band doesn't play, or more bands play than are listed I don't get that info, so the archive might say these 5 bands played and it was 2 of those and 4 other bands or something and no one would know.

You can also go to http://www.archive.org/ (which is one of the most interesting sites on the net) and enter www.jaxxroxx.com in the wayback machine at the top of the page and you can look at old Jaxx webpages back a few years.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, at least during the 80's the Ramones usually played The Bayou.
