Well it's a 2hr drive for me so I don't get there too often. So far my favorite shows have been Pearcy and his Rat Bastards. I've got a lot of pics on my site of those and the Doro show I went to, you can check them out here: http://www.psykosmileys.comClick on artists name on the left hand sidebar. As far as more local bands I'd say Baby Jayne is my favorite. Looking forward to making the roadtrip many more times in the future! |

The best show at Jaxx was the Watain show where they were covered in cow shit and blood.

Kreator/Exodus/Warbringer in May probably gets an unfair bump because it's so fresh in the mind, but goddamn that was a heavy show.

I've been to so many I don't think I could pick a favorite. I always love it when ZO2 and Kix play there. I love that Jay books a bunch of 80's bands because I'm 27 and I missed out on all those bands when they were big because I was too young to go see them. Jaxx is one of my favorite venues. The only problem I have with it is that it is an almost 2 hour drive for me, making it very hard for me to go to shows on weekdays.

Well, since I've only been to Jaxx 2 times - and it was to see ZO2 - I'd have to say my favorite show was (drum roll please!) ZO2! And I'll be back next Friday night for my third show. If Jaxx were closer, I'd be there more often, but it takes planes and automobiles (no trains!) to get there from Indy. Jaxx is a very cool venue.

Unfortunately, I don't think they'll be back to the US anytime soon. There were financial issues with both U.S. tours. Unfortunately, it's a little more expensive for them to tour than for a smaller group, and they just don't have enough U.S. draw - which is sad, because they *were* awesome! |
