DevilDriver, Suffocation and Thy Will Be Done this past Jan. I didn't get to catch Goatwhore since I was interviewing J. Costa of TWBD at the time. From what I heard coming through the walls in the back of the building it was still an amazing set. The reason this was such a great show was Jaxx was packed to rim and everyone was going apeshit. It was an all around great time for everyone there.

I have been to about 50 shows at JAXX and for me the best show I have seen there was a Great White show before the Rhode Island fire.  They just tore the stage up, it was an amazing show.  Don't get me wrong the Overkill shows, Celtic Frost they were all pretty F-ing cool too but the best time I had was at the GW show.

King Diamond always has a fun show.
Augh! I wish I could say I've seen King, but currently I'm vigilantly watching for his next US tour so that I can see him for my first time.

Testament, Eluveitie, Finntroll... those are my fave shows.  Now I'll add Turisas to that list when I can finally see them. Cheesy
Turisas was indeed awesome. Getting to shout along to To Holmgard and Beyond was great.

Paganfest 1 was the best show I've ever seen. Ensiferum, Turisas, Tyr, Eluveitie, and Sil Veth opened (very impressive Maryland band). Sold out show full of great folk metal and excited folk metal fans. Fantastic show that I'll remember for a long time.

I really want to get the meet & greet ticket but either way I have to wait until at least the 17th to get tix. Been out of work for 3 months and just started a new job, 17th will be first payday. If I go with reg tix I'll keep you in mind but I'm not a local so that may present a problem.

It's not a problem at all! What I usually do is mail people their tickets. We have a PayPal account, so as long as you have a credit card, you can buy from us online.

If you decide to go with regular tix, just go here to buy them off of us:

Favorite show@Jaxx would be a toss up between the Motorhead/Nashville Pussy/Gluecifer triple bill, Hank III and Bent Brother (aka Twisted Sister minus the makeup).  I regret missing both the Manowar and Dio shows@Jaxx back in the 90s.

You and me both Hunter! I didn't find out Jaxx existed until long after Dio had played there. I did talk with him about it the couple times I met him and he remembered it fondly. The last time was Nov 09, right before he announced his cancer Sad He talked about doing some small venue dates with his band inbetween the H&H dates and asked me to give Wendy the Jaxx info, if only that had worked out Sad

It was a Bent Brother review that introduced me to Jaxx, I saw "springfield, Va" and found out it was only 2hrs away and decided I had to check the place out! Of course BB hasn't been back since then, maybe someday.
