Technically speaking, JAXX provides its customers and performers with a superb sound and lighting experience. Twenty years of concert experience has enabled the Jaxx crew & The Roadducks to accumulate one of the finest light and sound systems available.
The P.A. system consists of 3 MEYERS MSL 3's and 2 MEYERS 650 double 18 bass cabinets per side, driven by 10.000 watts of stereo power amps by CROWN and CREST. The monitor system features 7 biamped floor wedge mixes, stereo triamped sidefills and a triamped drum monitor, again powered by CROWN and CREST.
This system provides an incredibly clean, loud, undistorted 64 channels of house mix, enabling all our clientele to enjoy great sound anywhere in the club.
Jaxx has just installed a brand new Midas Verona 64 channel F.O.H. sound board (March '05)
The lighting system consists of 68 Par 64 & 58 cans, Hi End Systems 'Intelligent" lighting, fog machines, and various "special effects." This stage and dance floor lighting scheme is further enhanced by 3 professional quality spotlights, in the projection booth high over the hall.
